Our mission in Vettes for Vets is to come together as Vette owners and Veteran supporters to support and show thanks to those that have served our great country. The comradery between Vette owners and the military is very similar in many ways. We want to bring together Vette owners regardless of age, race, sex, height or weight to support our war fighters! Many Vette owners are Veterans themselves and we look forward to continuing to grow from the state level to international support.
Founded in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, Vettes for Vets has grown quickly. Our highlighted event each year will be to surprise a deserving Veteran with a knock on the door letting them know they will receive a new roof, along with other interior and exterior renovations all for FREE. Many people have served this great country but face tough times without being able to catch a break. This foundation will give that break to a Veteran every year on Veterans Day! With continued growth and support, the goal is to be able to surprise more than one Veteran each year with home upgrades, etc.
Our cause is funded by donations, fundraisers, supporting vendors, and our car show events every year. While originally based out of Charleston, Vettes for Vets hopes to grow and start up in other regions enabling other Veterans throughout the country to receive that surprise knock on their door.
